Our numbers for WTBQ.com showed that The Comedy Point was the most listened to show on WTBQ.com for the month of January! We would like to thank all of our listeners who listen LIVE every Tuesday from 6 to 8pm, and downloand our podcast on iTunes! Without you, the show would not be possible. The online numbers were a bit overwhelming with Tuesday almost doubling the next highest day of the week: Friday. January, our 5th month in existence, has been nothing but fun to start the year off. In 2010 our slogan has been: 50 Shows with 50 guests from 50 states.
Our show has been so interactive, from watching the show live on Webcam, chatting with Jenna our intern in the chat room, or calling up live at 845-651-1110. Our phone lines the past 2 weeks have been non-stop busy. The show has really taken a life all on it’s own. Each week we have had fans and fellow comedians calling the show unexpectedly to make announcements or just let us know they are listening.
Steve and Dan of In Motion for a Million have checked in each of the past 2 weeks, on their quest to roller blade across America! Their story is very compelling and our fans have enjoyed hearing about their adventures, while raising money for their respective charities. Bigger and better things are in the works for the remainder of February, as Maddog Mattern!!! will be joining us in studio for Fat Tuesday February 16th. The energy and experience that Maddog brings to to the table while in studio is second to none. I’m already looking forward to Tuesday night’s show!
