My mom always taught me that things happen for a reason. One door closes as another door opens with a new opportunity. That opportunity presented itself with WIFI 1460AM in Burlington County, New Jersey. The Comedy Point crew enjoyed our time at WTBQ in Orange County, NY, but it was time to move on into the bigger market of Philadelphia and Atlantic City. WIFI has the ability to reach a much larger market with it’s more powerful radio signal.
Moreover, the commute up to Orange County was an hour and fifteen minutes door to door from Staten Island to the station. The ride down to WIFI is 45 minutes, or an hour round trip shorter. Plus it gives me a chance to, “Come home,” into the market where I grew up and went to high school. The decision was not that difficult, as it was too good of an opportunity to pass up. The best part? Our time slot remains teh same: Tuesdays from 6 to 8pm.
