Roller Blading to The Finish….

The journey for In Motion For A Million Started in Florida

Tuesday May 4th, Steve Feigenbaum of In Motion For A Million, called into The Comedy Point.  If In Motion For A Million sounds familiar, it’s because Steve along with Dan Bowen, have been regularly calling into our radio show to update us on their mission.  Rollerblading across America, the two journeymen started in Saint Augustine Florida back in February and ended on April 24th in San Diego California.

Until the tail end of the trip, Dan and Steve had been traveling 40-60 miles per day strictly traveling by their rollerblades, replacing their fair share of wheels along the way.  To meet family, friends, and television appearances 13 hour and 100 mile days were implemented to ensure their arrival in San Diego on April 24th.

Last State....

Since it’s only 3,000 some odd miles from coast to coast, where did the name, “In Motion For A Million,” come from?  The best part about Dan and Steve, is that they raised money forHunington’s Disease Society and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Although their mission is complete, donations are still be accepted through the summer of 2010.  For more information please visit their website at:  http://www.inmotionforamillion.org/

Thanks to all The Comedy Point fans who have supported Dan and Steve!
