I’m not sure what might happen over the course of the next 24 hours, but here’s the deal:
Soul Joel Productions Presents Southern States Tour with Yannis Pappas kicks off Wednesday at NY Comedy Club in Boca Raton Florida.
To get down there a few days early, Scott Chamberlin and I are driving down with Maddog Mattern!!! and Yannis Pappas in 1 car. On shorter road trips, the car ride can be just as funny as the actual comedy show itself. But this will be 20 hours of driving time from NY to Boca Raton Florida, arriving at some point Monday. How many times will we need to stop? What will happen along the way? No one can be certain, so we will be sure to update from the road.
One thing is for sure: the combination of Yannis being a rascal while getting under everyone’s skin for his own amusement and Maddog speaking at full volume in a small space, the car ridcould get interesting towards the end.
Tuesday on The Comedy Point will be the first show that I will not be in studio, so Burak Uzun will be taking my place as anchor. More updates on that show to follow later today.
