The Comedy Point is branching out and bringing a special opportunity to original bands! Come check out the action Saturday October 2nd at 7pm, as 6 bands will take the stage as they battle it out in front of judges from head sponsor radio station WIFI 1460 AM.
Each band will have 40 minutes of stage time to play their best original music to claim the GRAND PRIZE: 5 hours of studio time to record their album and 5 hours of FREE air time to play and promote their album! It’s going to be a fun night. In between sets, we will have a DJ on hand playing music and The Comedy Point’s very own Maddog Mattern!!! will be the emcee, keeping the energy strong all night long.

For all those who haven’t been to The Robin’s Nest in downtown Mt. Holly, the event will take place on the outside Crow Bar on the back deck. The patrons will be on one side and the bands will be on the hill across The Rancoccas Creek.
