About Eliza:
Eliza Skinner is a comedian and regular performer at the UCB Theater (NY and LA). She performs musical improv with Diamond Lion and Baby Wants Candy, and co-hosts (with DC Pierson) Magic Bag – a weekly stand-up comedy show in
Hollywood. She has written for Glamour, Cracked, Showtime, PRI’s Fair Game, and the NY Press, and she was recently nominated for an ECNY Award for Achievements in Tweeting. Her blog, NastyCute, was recently featured on the
Huffington Post and LateNightWithJimmyFallon.com and was called “world’s most hilarious Tumblr blog ever” by TheFrisky.com.
Eliza’s digital shorts have won multiple awards, including audience favorites at the 48 Film Project, the DC Comedy Festival and the Iron Mule Film Series. She has appeared on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, Showtime’s PopTudors, AMC’s LifeCoach, and Ice Cube’s Are We There Yet? She headlined the Hell Yeah Fest in Austin in April, and spent August performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She’ll be in New York for the NY Comedy Festival in November.
