About Natalie:

Natalie was born in England but insists that it wasn’t her fault An unconventional British upbringing as the daughter of a UK rock musician provided fertile grounds for a future career in stand-up During her teens, Natalie’s family moved to Canada where her own career in entertainment began to take off, being cast as a lead in a teen soap, and doing a successful 3 year run as a host on live children’s television during which time her duties included not only writing her own material, but also interviewing dozens of celebrities including Will Smith, La Toya Jackson, Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, Jerry O’ Connell, and Aerosmith Two year’s training at Toronto’s Second City led to the formation of her own successful improv troupe and she now keeps her chops honed in Hollywood at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater founded by four improvisers including fellow comedienne Amy Poehler Natalie’s unusual childhood sprouted the first storylines of her foray into stand-up, but what act isn’t complete without a failed marriage and several unusual career choices including designing shoes for Playboy and becoming an abstract expressionist artist Her life in comedy was to move in a new direction when she crossed paths with another British comic in L.A., Jason Canning. They decided to write a script together about clueless Brits in America trying to make a go of things in Hollywood (ahem). It was aptly titled, NO TALENT REQUIRED. Believing heartily in the result of their collaboration, Natalie directed and produced the full half hour pilot of NO TALENT REQUIRED You can see the trailer one her website www.nataliegray.com
