“Potty Training 101″

In a preschool setting we often help with potty training. I had a boy who was working on potty training and pulling up/down his pants and he was doing really well. Finally, he got to the point where he wanted to be a ”big boy” and do everything himself. So we ended the whole helping zipping the pants and he had the hang of it or so we thought. One day recently after being on his own he went to bathroom at the end of the day and did everything himself.  We were all cheering him on until his mom came in the next day to let us know…that although she was super excited for what her son had accomplished…he had some difficulty the day before and unfortunately when zipping up something got “stuck” in the zipper and it unfortunately it wasn’t his superman underoos!

“You forgot something…”

I had a football player change back in his street clothes and proceed to leave the locker room in his boxers forgetting to put back on his shorts.  He did come back realizing what he forgot to put on and put his shorts on.
