Wrong Table!

After broadcasting The Comedy Point in studio, Burak and I stop to grab a bite to eat while discussing the show. Our newest addition to our weekly routine is going to be to stop by the restaurant where my sister’s fiancee is the chef. It works out perfect because Americana in Hightstown is just about half way on the way home. Ironically when the time came to place our order, Burak and I both ordered off the breakfast portion of the menu.

Hungry as can be, the server running food stops at the table asking, “Lamb chops and sliders?” I politely responded that it wasn’t ours, although I did it while with my mouth beginning to water. After checking one other table, the server returned to the kitchen. Only to immediately return to the table and is joined by the waitress who explains we didn’t order this. Putting the food down on our table, “You are Scott’s family. This is compliments of the chef.” The food was amazing, as we were nearly stuffed before the food we ordered arrived.

Certainly, the red carpet treatment was unnecessary and unexpected, as we asked for the check dessert finds it’s way to our table. I don’t normally enjoy cheesecake, but this was delicious. Burak and I split both desserts including the Apple Strudel. Burak admitted he wouldn’t be finishing his half of either dessert. Just minutes later, only empty plates remained on the table. If anyone is in the area, be sure to stop by Americana on Route 130, The Comedy Point crew will be there every Tuesday around 8:30-ish. (Photo NOT exact dessert served)

Meet Christine Meehan, Tuesday’s Guest Co-Host

While Co-host Rich Shultis is down South on Tour, “Living The Dream,” The Comedy Point crew has asked Christine Meehan to be the guest co-host in studio! Originally from Delaware, Christine currently resides in Center City Philadelphia where she hosts a monthly show the 2nd Friday of the month called Camp Tabu located at Tabu Lounge & Sports Bar. Next edition is February 11th and starts at 9pm.

“Find Rich a Home” One of Our Best Shows….

The Comedy Point is on a quest to find co-host Rich Shultis a home or place to live by July 1st, since he has been kicked out his house. Rich Shultis, co-host of The Comedy Point, and his girlfriend have decided to part ways after nearly 18 months together. Why is this such a big news flash? Rich was also living her during that time and needs to find a new home by July 1st. To quote Rich directly from his status update on Facebook:

Hey ladies, great news, I’m back on the market. I get: hot girl with money, intellegents and a forgiving heart. You get: an out of shape middle-aged man with a bad knee and 2 semisters of commuity college. get in line baby! Whooooo………….

This is straight from his heart with all the misspellings, it couldn’t be from anywhere or anyone else. Rich doesn’t claim to be smart or know a lot, but he does claim to know more than any woman.
